Interested eligible candidates from the youth of Matak Community of Assam are hereby invited for the selection of prospective candidates for competitive Civil Services Examinations (UPSC/APSC) in order to provide financial assistance to them under the scheme “Providing Coaching to the Youth of Matak Community students for UPSC/ APSC examinations” formulated by Govt. of Assam for the benefit of students. Which is now known as Free APSC/UPSC Coaching for Matak community.

Important Dates

  • Opening date of Online Application- 20th June 2022.
  • Closing date of Online Application- 30th June 2022.
  • Examination date- 10th July 2022
  • Result Declaration Date- 20th July, 2022

How to apply online

  • For offline submission, interested candidates can download the application format from the Dibrugarh District official website at
  • For Online submission, scanned copy of filled-up applications can be sent to this email-  [email protected]
  • Candidates must submit 2 recent (two) passport-size photographs with white background.
  • Caste Certificate (issued by All Assam Matak Sanmilan, PRC, Graduation Marksheets need to be submitted together.
  • For Offline Submission candidates need to visit- Deputy Commissioner Office, Dibrugarh

Exam Details

  • The screening test will be held on 10th July at Sri Aniruddhadeva Junior College, Boiragimath, Dibrugarh at 12 Noon to 3.00 PM (Three hours).
  • A written Test and a Personality Interview round will be held. The written test will consist of GS (100 objectives type questions each carrying 2 marks and 5 subjective questions each carrying 10 marks as per the syllabus of APSC and UPSC). Personality Test marks= 50 and Total marks (Written Test + Personality Test= 300)

Candidates are also advised to regularly visit Assam career or for further
instructions in this regard by the authority. The result will be published on the above mentioned website.
