Every Year the Assam Science and Technology conducted the CEE (Combined Entrance Examination) examination for admission into the various B.Tech. Program in the engineering colleges of Assam. This year Assam CEE 2022 has recently released a notification for the candidates who are waiting for the exam notification.

Candidates who completed the HS or appeared in the HS Final examination are now eligible to apply for the Assam CEE 2022, CEE is a state-level entrance examination where qualified candidates get admission into the various B.Tech Programs under the ASTU affiliated engineering colleges. Assam CEE 2022 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

CEE-2022 will be based on the syllabus of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC). The examination will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) type and comprise of a single paper of 3(three) hours duration with the following distribution. There will be 120 multiple choice questions and For every correct answer, 4 (four) marks will be awarded for every correct answer and 1 (one) mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. There shall be no marks, in case, the candidate selects more than one option in the answer sheet.

How to Fill up Assam CEE  Online Application

  • Visit the official website at www.astu.ac.in and click on CEE 2022Online Form Fill-up link
  • Click on the Application Form Tab
  • Read the Instructions carefully before online application because Multiple applications will be rejected later.
  • Click on Next and fill-up the form and submit
  • Next, pay the examination fee Rs. 850(Eight hundred and fifty only) ,through online payment facility, which is available on the CEE-2022 login portal.
  • Take a printout of the Application Form.

Assam CEE Eligibility

To get admission into the Engineering colleges of Assam under the ASTU CEE entrance there are some eligibility that a candidate must meet the following criteria.

  • The Candidate should be a Permanent resident of Assam.
  • The Age of the candidate should be 17 to 21 Years as on 1st August 2022.
  • Upper age limit mentioned in (d) above is relaxed to 22 years in case of B.Sc. passed
    Candidates
  • Upper age limit mentioned in (d) above is relaxed by 3 years for Scheduled
    Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates
  • For admission the candidate must pass the Qualifying Examination individually in the same sitting without any grace marks in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with a minimum of 50 % (45 % in case of SC and 40% in case of ST) marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The same sitting means a candidate must appear all the four subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English together.
